Pioneer DJM S-11 Mirror Acrylic Faceplate

PLEASE NOTE- A VERY SIMPLE MODIFICATION MUST BE DONE TO YOUR FADER CAPS TO USE THIS FACEPLATE WITHOUT ANY ISSUES. PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY.

The faceplates are 3mm durable Mirror acrylic.

The text and graphics are laser etched on the under side of the faceplate which leaves the faceplate surface completely smooth.

The faceplate text is illuminated by the lit pads meaning the functions can be read in complete darkness such as club environments.

The screw holes are counter sunk to ensure the screws aren't raised above the face plate.

The edges of the acrylic change colour with whichever pad mode you have your s-11 set to.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY.

IF YOU TRY AND PULL PIONEER FADER CAPS STRAIGHT OFF YOU WILL BREAK THE P-LOCK.

WARNING-PIONEER FADERS HAVE A LOCKING MECHANISM, PLEASE GOOGLE SEARCH 'How to Remove P-Lock Fader Caps' IN ORDER TO REMOVE THEM SAFELY.

Installation is very straight forward, you simply remove the fader caps using the method found in your mixer manual or internet instructions, then remove the screws from your existing faceplate, place the screws to one side, replace the old faceplate with your new faceplate and using the same screws you can now screw your faceplate in place. Please do NOT over tighten the screws.

You must remove the P-Lock mechanism in order for the fader caps to run freely without making contact with your new faceplate. You may still find that the bottom of the fader cap rubs on the faceplate even after removing the P-Lock mechanism.

This can be fixed by a very basic but trusty method. you simply place a very small amount of the blue tac provided into the bottom slot of the underside of the fader cap. you can now use the bamboo pick provided to push the blue tac all the way into the slot. You should now find the your fader glides perfectly without any fader cap and faceplate contact occurring.
